10 pieces of skinless legs and thighs or about 2 pounds
1 cup of no fat greek yogurt
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of garlic
1.5 tsp of salt
2 tsp of paprika
0.5 tsp of tumeric powder
0.5 tsp of coriander powder
0.5 tsp of cumin powder
0.5 tsp of red chilli powder (optional)
0.5 tsp of ground ginger
a pinch of red food colour (optional)
coriander leaves to garnish
4. Marinate for at least an hour in the fridge if not overnight.
TIP: I separate my chicken and use the marinade without red chilli powder for the kids and then add the red chilli powder to the marinade for the rest of the chicken. I also take a bit of the yogurt marinade and leave aside to use as a dipping sauce.
